The village of Garhi was suddenly attacked by plague. The disease spread fast and some
persons died. The villager’s collected together and approached Sant Baba Basant Singh ji
Maharaj to save them from the killer disease.
The benevolent Sant ji Maharaj reached the village on his horse. He involved himself
immediately in the service of the sick. He helped the people and his service persuaded
others to join in the Sewa of the meek.
Thereafter he rode on his horse and took a round of the village traversing the entire periphery
of the village. This action of the Holy saint brought an end to the spread of the epidemic.
No one died from the disease after that day.
