A train was caught from Rohtak to reach Delhi. Information about the coming of Sant Baba Basant Singh ji Maharaj, to Delhi had already reached there and preparations to welcome him with full honors had already been made. Everyone was waiting eagerly for Sant Baba ji to arrive.
The sangat collected at the Railway platform to receive Sant Baba ji. The devotees wanted to take Sant Baba ji to their residence but Sant Baba ji went to Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. After paying obeisance at the sacred historical Gurdwara of the eighth Master Sri Guru Harkishan Sahib ji Maharaj, Sant Baba ji put up in the Gurdwara.
Sant ji Maharaj with the sangat visited all the religious historical Gurdwaras in the city of Delhi. The sangat listened to Sant Baba ji attentively when he spoke about the background history of the Gurdwaras.
The devotees took him to their respective homes. Everywhere a congregation was held. Kirtan and Katha were undertaken. Holy Food was then served to the sangat.
The neighbor’s, friends and relatives of the devotees were invited to attend the congregation and at every place there was a large gathering. The devotees wanted that as many persons as possible should be present and gain from the blessings of this great saint.
Giani Didar Singh ji spoke about the mission of Sant Baba ji and narrated his philanthropic activities. It was mentioned in strong words that there was only one target to be achieved by Sant Baba ji and that was to persuade the people to initiate themselves and come into the fold of Khalsa by accepting the ambrosial nectar of the two edged sword.
Sant Baba Basant Singh ji Maharaj had the divine force of the Lord almighty with him and was able to mould the minds of many to become seekers and move on the righteous way of life.
