The sangat of Nangal Farid (Garhi) were enjoying the presence of Sant Baba Basant Singh ji Maharaj. Many people found that their wishes were being fulfilled.
A villager purchased a new bus and came to Sant Baba Basant Singh ji Maharaj. He requested Sant Baba ji, “Patshah! I have purchased a bus with your blessings. Please consecrate my bus with your Holy feet.”
Sant Baba ji advised him, “Your bus should be purified with the feet of the sangat. Some sangat including a Kirtani Jatha (Musical group) are waiting at Nirmal Kutiya Johalan for orders to start for this place. Please go to Nirmal Kutiya Johalan and bring them here in your bus.”
The devotee was happy that his bus would get the touch of the Holy ground of Nirmal Kutiya Johalan. Obeying the instructions of Sant Baba ji he reached the Kutiya. He requested the sangat present there, “Sant ji Maharaj has sent this bus from Garhi for you. He has specially instructed that the Kirtani Jatha and other sangat waiting to reach Garhi should be brought in this bus. Please get ready and accompany me.”
S. Didar Singh, S. Ajmer Singh, and S. Harjinder Singh travelled by this bus apart from others.
When they reached Garhi, the owner of the bus came to Sant Baba ji and paid his homage. Sant Baba ji said to him, “Bhai! The feet of the sangat have sanctified your bus. The Holy Company is morally elevating. You have therefore received the blessings of the Almighty with your Sewa.”
The devotee was very happy. He touched the feet of Sant Baba ji and expressed his gratefulness. The family of this devotee Sikh is today very prosperous. The opulence was a result of his obeying the instructions of Sant Baba ji without questioning. He performed the service to the sangat and thus there was no doubt about his family’s welfare.
