Nirmal Kutiya Johalan

PURE GLORY IS IN THE LOVE OF THE LORD

Many individuals of village Bhai ke Samravan were blessed by Sant Baba Basant Singh ji Maharaj. Some families of the village living in India and abroad are completely attached to Nirmal Kutiya Johalan and have full faith in the divinity of the place. They are disciplined Gursikhs of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib.

During their idle time or when they met each other these Gursikhs discuss about the various blessings of Sant Baba ji. These discussions become a motivation for those who have not yet come within the fold of Nirmal Kutiya Johalan.

Sardar Joginder Singh Jat belonged to this village but had never visited Nirmal Kutiya Johalan. He had heard a lot about the divinity of Sant Baba Basant Singh ji Maharaj. Master Mohinder Singh and Master Gurdev Singh, followers of Sant Baba ji, encouraged him to go and have DARSHAN of Sant Baba ji. To motivate him, they narrated their own experiences to make him aware of the Holiness of Sant Baba ji.

The auspicious day soon came in the life of Sardar Joginder Singh Jatt, when he came to Nirmal Kutiya Johalan for the DARSHAN of Sant Baba ji.

Sant Baba ji was squatting on a small mat. The simple clothes, the unpretentious way of his sitting, his face reflecting Holiness and the peaceful environment of the Kutiya attracted Sardar ji. In the first visit he was very impressed.

He paid his respects to Sant Baba ji.

Sant Baba ji asked an attendant to provide a mat to Sardar ji and he was asked to sit on it.

Sant Baba ji asked him, “Sahib! From where are you coming?”

Sardar ji replied, “I have come from village Bhai ke Samravan.”

Sant Baba ji asked him, “What do you do?”

He replied, “Maharaj ji! I am serving in the Roadways.”

Sant Baba ji said, “Munsha Singh of Samravan also works for the Roadways.”

Jat ji replied, “Maharaj ji! I am his nephew.”

Sant Baba ji smiled. He then sometimes looked at the ground and sometimes at the face of Jatt ji. When Jatt ji saw Sant Baba ji looking at him he lowered his eyes. He did not have the guts to look straight in the eyes of Sant Baba ji. He could not bear the radiance on the Holy face of Sant Baba ji.

After some time Sant Baba ji said, “Munsha Singh eats pulses and simple roti only (Meaning that he was a vegetarian).”

These words were spoken by Sant Baba ji in such a manner that they had the requisite effect on Jatt ji. Jatt ji was a non-vegetarian. He understood the teaching contained in the words of Sant Baba ji. Sitting there he promised to himself that he would eat only vegetarian food henceforth.

Sant Baba ji gave him PARSHAD and took leave of him.

In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, corruption is eradicated.
This is the greatest blessing of all. ||3|| (Page 198)

This is the greatness present in true Holy saints that people change their mind for good in the first DARSHAN. Sardar ji and his family joined the army of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib. They accepted the ambrosial nectar of the two edged sword. He followed the instructions of Sant Baba ji to speak less, eat less and sleep less but profoundly remember the One Almighty.
